We live in a brand new home, and decided to turn the heat on last night- noticed hot air wasn't blowing after even leaving it on for a few hours. Any way I can troubleshoot this myself? We have electric heat, and it was blowing hot air when the home inspector tested it. We didn't have any issues with the A/C during summer months.
There may have been a 220 circuit breaker that had tripped. You might start at the main power panel by resetting the breaker turning it off, wait a few seconds and then back on.
Contact the builder of the home in order to contact the HVAC installer to come out and check the system. It would be a warranty issue.
