We moved into a house that has a pool, its vinyl and has a diving board. We were thinking of removing the board, and making the pool around 4.5 all the way around so we could play vollyball and such. It is around a 15x30. Has anyone ever done this?

I heard of it being done when we lived back in Jax Fl....we thought of doing it too on a concrete pool about that size. but we would have had to bust out the floor, run a new main drain and lines, and the fill dirt was going to be costly, and we would have had to wheelbarrow it into the backyard.Ugh too much work...so we just had it remarcited with Diamond Brite stuff, I think that was the type.

Now since yours is vinyl, might be easier. Especailly of you have an easier way to get the dirt to the pool......... and IMO going with the vinyl is a lot cheaper.

We had lived in Ga. too and had a vinyl pool that we replaced the liner on when we bought the place... that pool was a lot easier to maintain than the other one...
I will DM the name of the company we used.as soon as I remember or find the name, lol.

For the life of me we can't remember if it was Leslie's or Summer Breeze, these locations were in Fayetteville. Ga Whichever, the price was good and they did a good job. The old liner was newer, but had torn because it was a stock size and too shallow for the pool, and got it right going with a custom size.
Good luck with whatever you do!!
Hope you enjoy Ga..........Atlanta is'home'
