Issue: White T-Shirt with writing on the front and white long-sleeved pullover shirt with pinstripes. Can I throw them in with the bleach wash? They come out clean in the regular wash but are dingy. Search engine results vary. Some say "Yes," others say "No," and others advise to turn the shirts inside out before throwing in the bleach load.
Yes, like Oxyclean. You might have to soak them in Oxyclean, not just wash them. Another thing I do is buy a box of Borax and dump some into the washer. Things come out brighter. Regular chlorine bleach will take the color out and it will weaken the fibers.
