I would be coming from Memorial Dr. to go north on Hwy 290.

290/610 is always screwed up. I used to work at Antoine/34th street. I would actually go on the street to work and back I would take either bammel-north houston to torrey chase or take veterans to antoine and take antoine to work. 290/610 all the way to 610/south post oak is always screwed up.

At that time you should have no problem at all heading north on 610 and onto 290 outbound from Memorial. The opposite direction is a different story.

You could also go Sam Houston/Beltway 8 North to 290 South and down to 610. There will be backup there, but it's a route to consider, considering your Memorial location mentioned in other posts, vs. going all the way down I-10 to 610. But during peak hours, it is better to go 10 to 610
