Cubbie fans can relate to that.

We might become the first 100/100 team. 100 million dollar payroll and 100 losses. Go Cubs goooooo.

Berkman's batting a lofty .161 since he left. That takes some of the sting out of it.

Just sayin'...

At least the little surge the 'Stros got right after trading the "legends" (not sure if I'd say that of either one) may well have kept them from losing 100 for the first time ever.

74-88 or so as a finish looks reasonable, which is a lot better than it looked two months ago. I'll skip the overpriced lukewarm crappy beer like I always did, but I'll buy a ticket to see these guys over the .240 hitter who is now taking up valuable real estate in the South Bronx.

NOTE TO THE ASTROS:

I don't care what else you do. Just beat those scumbag L.A. Dodgers and I'll be happy.

I heard the pair broke up, from ESPN....

I don't fault him at all though, just cause she wasn't willing to dodge a bullet doesn't mean the smarter person in the relationship has to jump in front and save the dumber one. I would've swatted it, but I'd expect anybody else in its path to dodge it.

How many times have you had a 70 mile an hour line drive come at you? I think that's quite a reach for you to assume the lady was dumb.

I am not surprised people get hit by a ball in Minute Maid Park because that place lacks energy. Fans are lethargic. It always feels and sounds like a swim meet.

I've been to many stadiums and it is one of the worst. The ballpark itself is nice, but the fans are so laid back. The local bar was pathetic after the game.

Are you sure you didn't mean to say, "I'll be the one there."
