I wanted to ask any of you who workout if you protect your car seats with a towel, or any other protector. I thought I had seen a product that fits like a towel...but better placed...I can't find it anywhere and was wondering if anyone knows what I'm talking about. If you do know, please tell me what did you get and what store did you get it from.

Thanks!

I keep towels in the car for just such a reason.

Not really a runner, but I do exercise outdoors. I keep towels. My car has bucket seats so I bought the cheapest car seat covers I could find at Wal-Mart.

If you have bucket seats, what about a big hefty bag to slip over the seat... not the most visually appealing option, but I bet it works.

I use a large beach towel, sewn at the top to create a pocket for the headrest to fit in. This way it will stay on the seat without me trying to tuck it in. Have three like this so I can take them in regulerly for washing and not be without one in the car.

I used to always drive to where I ran, and thought that someone should invent a solution to protecting your car seats - - besides a towel (worst case I would put a garbage bag under the towel). But the secret is not only protecting it, but also not leaving that "used" protection on the seat. So, even though a towel can be a hassle, it is always nice to take it all out when you are done and toss into wash. Having leather seats helps as well....

Car companies make custom seat covers...however..they stink, literally.

I just keep a small stack of nice beach towels in the trunk. That way they are washed and clean each time.

Ditto to towels. I hate stinky cars or old dirty car seat covers.
