Is the metro area becoming more liberal and losing its conservative ways?

I doubt that seriously based on my personal experience. I live up on the North side of town and the people who live around me live there because they want nothing whatsoever to do with the liberal lifestyle or the liberal people found in many areas of the city limits. There are still some conservative, wealthy areas of the city but they're being overwhelmed by the year.

Think about areas like Tombal, the Woodlands, Kingwood and Sugarland... they're all outside the city limits and in my opinion much more conservative than inside the city limits. People don't mind working in the city but many don't want to live there.

I'm not really a conservative type person because I'm from Alabama, so...............you get the picture.

Compared to what? My friends in the Northwest think I'm moderate or even conservative while many Texans would consider me extremely liberal. Houston is equally hard to categorize.

What does that mean? There are some very conservative places in Alabama. I'm not getting the picture.

I meant that Alabama is so conversative that it's so annoying. I'm more of a liberal person because as a conservative state, Alabama has lost out on a lot of opportunities.

Better to ask how many angels can dance on the head of a pin, or better yet why Bob McNair won't fire Gary Kubiak if you really are looking for people to guess at a question that can't be answered.

Without getting too far off topic, would you like to list a few of the opportunities that Alabama lost out on because it's a conservative state?

Houston is moderate. Just how I like my cities. I get sick of hearing both sides to the extreme.
