Are there any organic markets (such as Whole Foods, etc.) on the northwest side of Houston (near the outer loop and Fallbrook Drive)? I have interviewed for a job there, but need to live somewhere that has places other than your standard grocery store in which to shop.

There's a Whole Foods on Westheimer in Westchase. It's right off the Tollway. Central Market is right off 610 also.

On Louetta near 249 there is the brand new HEB Vintage Market, which is supposed to have a lot of what Central Market has. Whole Foods is being built in The Woodlands. Other than that, most Houston grocery stores carry a wide variety of organic foods.

Whole Foods isn't going to happen in TW.

I was going to say Vintage Market but it's farther than the others to this person. I didn't know if outer loop meant 610 or the tollway.

I called and they said the area didn't meet their "demographics".
