any of you catch Houston's newest celebrity aka star, Riff Raff on MTV? He's holding it down for Houston. Riff Raff aka the Texas Tornado is attempting to go from G to Gent.

Here he is live in the flesh:

YouTube - RIFF RAFF - M.T.V. - CAR SHOW 1

anyone grow up with him or see him around? LOL, I ask because I've never seen anything like "Riff" before, have you? Strange...Odd...Alien...one of those.

I am totally unhip too but I do know that it is a show on MTV that has a bunch of guys who look like thugs attempt to become "gentleman". HA.... Waste of airspace on tv if you ask me. (I have almost teenagers that watch this garbage)

What a disgrace. The fact that MTV promotes that lifestyle is oh so sad.

Wow! That's really sad, job status is unemployed and by the look of him I'd say it's likely to stay that way.

What a clown. If someone like that ever showed up at my door to date my daughter I think I'd close the door in his face and send my daughter to a convent.

I just looked at his Youtube videos, cruisin' stoned around H-town. Back in the day, this dude with the icy grills would've been one of the many wannabe's on Ricki Lake. He speaks with a fake (inconsistent) black accent. Any observant Houston native could tell you that. This guy is putting on an act that apparently some kids are buying. Though I will say some of his freestyles ain't bad. But he's no Eminem. We'll see how long he lasts. My guess is his unemployed status will be long-term.
