Hey all,
I have been trying my hardest to find a track and a swimming pool to train at that doesnt charge you an arm and a leg, a membership fee or where you to be a student in order to attend.

I remember when you could just go through the open gate of a neighborhood high school and get a good workout in on the track or you could go to a community center and pay 7 bucks to swim all day, but i cant find that anywhere in Houston especially not near the galleria area (where i stay)

Does anyone know if i can find a track and a pool near galleria, meyerland or bellaire?

How about Rice? Im pretty sure you can use the track at the local HS if the kids arent using it. Did you try Bellaire High or Lamar? What about Grady MS? The pool is different..you may have to get membership to Y

Hey i called rice but they don't let you train on the track unless you hire one of there personal trainers. The middle school doesnt have a track, Bellaire HS's track is under construction and wont be before summer is over and I still have to get in contact with Lamar... not looking good but i really appreciate the help

Memorial is At Echo Lane and I-10..about 10 minutes away. Memorial Middle is Attingham and I-10, about 12-15 minutes. Westchester is just outside the Beltway and 10. at 15 minutes.
