Hello all,
we are relocating to Houston in 3 weeks and have been given the choice of either living in (corporate housing) the Phoenician or Montierra. I would greatly appreciate any advice on these apartments! We have a 3 year old son and are looking for somewhere safe that may have a nice pool for children. ANY tips are welcome!
Thank you for your time.

My wife and I are relocating as well and we looked at the Phoenician, San Montego and Uptown Post Oak. We went with the Uptown because it is right across the street from my office, but we just didn't like the Phoenician all that much, we didn't look at the Montierra, it wasn't offered to us, but we loved San Montego and it is located in the Energy Corridor and very convenient to everything, you might check with your relo company on that one, we use Murphy.

Good call on the Uptown Post Oak community. It close to everything within Uptown Park and it is within walking distance. San Montego is also nice apartment community with many great amenities for its resident. The one bedrooms at Phoenician are a bit small and the property could use a bit of an update, in my opinion.

Phonecian is a terrible rip-off if I remember correctly. It cracks me up how that Days Inn advertises "99 a night". You move that place a mile or two southwest and suddently it's 15 an hour.
