As you may already know, Amazon will start collecting taxes for Texas folks Starting July 1st and that means you have 15 more days to do your research and buy anything from them tax free.

Yeah, I buy a lot from amazon. Probably 75% of my christmas/bday gift shopping has been through amazon the last couple years. I'm sure my amazon purchases will drop off considerably as an 8.25% increase on everything is hard to ignore.

I bet Amazon sales will drop 10% to 20% after this. Republican want all the money they can get to go right back into there pockets when it should be helping the state. Lottery earnings should go to help education where is the money why did they have to cut 2 billion for education the the lottery earnings should be used to help education

Adios Amazon. Even without the taxes stuff, they've been getting ridiculous with shipping charges and games for awhile now. This is just another reason to move on elsewhere. If they lose money (very likely), they'll just resort to higher shipping charges and even more games.

Shipping on Amazon it this lowest I have seen of any online retailer. Ebay is the worst for shipping fees you buy a it that is 1/3 to 3/4 pound and the sell chargers you $20 to $25. 4yrs ago I was looking to buy a laptop off Ebay I found one but the seller was charging $50 for shipping when everyone else you was selling one shipping was $20 to $25 come on

Shipping cost from Amazon is amazingly low - $79 per year for Prime and then shipping is free for thousands of things.
