I'll find out...my only gripe is alot of caucasian food reviewers in Houston such as Miss Cook will overrate BBQ places or soul food places at times as she doesn't understand the taste....if they feel comfortable at those places in the 'hood with average food for that hour they're there they'll rate them higher than what they need to be....but when she hits a gourmet restaurant, she slices them with a hot buttered knife if she doesn't like it

This Is It was rated much higher than it should've been, the old Burns BBQ declined...nothing great about Thelma's..etc...it's like they're afraid to speak the truth on them for whatever reason

Could be they are either already advertisers or they are on the list to bring into the fold.

I think your spot on. Maybe they are afraid of being perceived as racist. This is It is good but not great. But Anglos have different palettes it seems than others...I still think its best to try the place out for oneself.
