Yep hateable is a word right now.

Now I'm always up for saying how much I LOVE cold weather but in the damn winter Good Lord! It's freaking March going on April.

We couldn't get it like this in December for anything but a few miniscule days all spaced out. Not a lick in November. Smatterings not so bad in January but March? Really?

Between the pollen falling all over the place like some dealer dropped some yellow cocaine all over the city and this bipolar weather how people stay well is a mystery. I haven't been able to breathe out of both nostrils in a while now. It's hot then it's cold then it's windy as hell and cool then my car is yellow as a banana.

I do love the cold but when March and April roll around enough is enough. We live in a hot zone. This ain't the upper West Coast for snow surprises.

My weather app says 37 in the morning. WTF? This is March! In November yes please. December hell yes. January yes please but March going on April? Uh no. Easter clothes are not on display with fleece nearby in Houston. Weather here is whack.

Unstable weather is the norm... nowhere to go because it's worldwide not just Houston.

Not disagreeing with you about the weather in Houston but I will this - no matter how hot it gets, you don't have to shovel it.

Never seen a person shovel humidity.

So Illinois and Indiana gets 8-12" of snow and we get 40 degree temperatures (for only a few hours). I think we got the better deal.

Exactly! It was beautiful out today even if it was a bit chilly and there was a high pollen count.

I have a preference for our hot weather and have very low tolerance for cold. But I can tolerate cold mornings where it warms up fairly decent by lunchtime as it did yesterday and will do today. Plus seems to be an early bee season. Maybe some of these cool mornings will slow them down.

I'd say, "Quit your bitching' OP!" if not for one little detail.

it would make me a hypocrite.

Gosh, I live for this weather. it's the exact type of weather I leave Houston for in the summers. The wind was a bit annoying, but the fire in the fireplace last night wasn't.

You can keep your 95, man-eating skeeters, and 100% humidity. Being native, I've never gotten used to it, and have grown totally intolerant to it.

My family back in Maryland has snow today, so I will take our cool morning today. It will be lovely this afternoon.

I don't miss the snow at all.
