We are looking at a house in Cypress and one in Spring in the North Spring subdivision. I like the house in Spring a little better, but I like the area of Cypress better. I'm just concerned about it being in Spring ISD. I homeschool so school sytems aren't an issue for me personally. Just thinking about resale and property values. Do you guys think Exxon coming in will help Spring? Also what do you think the impact of the Grand Parkway coming in will have on Spring?

I don't know about all of Spring,
but I bet there's going to be a huge boom between Tomball and Spring

Move West in Spring and you'll be happier. The North Spring you're talking about is the no go area. I'm assuming it's near Spring High. That's the downward slope area regardless of homeschooling. The area is just going down. Those kids so live around the block.

Cypress = 290 so that's always a negative for me and will always make me choose anything but Cypress. The congestion out of Cypress is just a mess. Roads and 290.

290 will get better once the highway is upgraded.
Nice area, new retail, and CY-Fair has good schools.
