Hello,

Pardon if there is already a topic on this, if so and it still pertains, please link me.

I'm looking for a hotel downtown with the best skyline or views of buildings/architecture for family that is coming to visit this weekend.

The best one I know is Hilton but unfortunately there are no rooms available for this weekend. =\

Aside from Hilton, does anyone else know any other hotels with the best views?

I know it may be too much to ask but any pictures would be helpful, or any website with pictures would help. I looked online but the majority that popped up are those from Hilton. =\

Thanks!

the new JW Marriott is smack in the heart of everything/at the intersection of the light rail lines, with views of the surrounding towers? I've been wanting to stay there since it opened a while back to check everything out.. it was originally Houston's first "skyscraper".

yeah. im not sure the views would be quite as good as the Hilton since its in the heart of downtown/surrounded by towers across the street, but its definitely one of the most "urban" and has great access to lots of attractions up and down the light rail lines if they want to visit any of those places while they're in town.

I think I'd rather get a hotel Uptown with a view facing Downtown.
