Air Canada announced they will begin servicing Houston from Montreal. United Airlines already does this route, so it will now be a double daily, double airline type route. I like this, as to me, Montreal has been underserved for quite some time now.

And also Air New Zealand direct Auckland to IAH from mid December. This is awesome news for us as our previous stop was only LAX or San Francisco

They're both *A. There will be no price wars. The only chance for a decrease in price is if WestJet from Canada services the route.

IAH-YYC fares have dropped by nearly 50% since WestJet started flying to IAH this fall.
