As if it is not obvious enough, this article put it into perspective.

The highlight part:
Quote:
will push back $3 trillion a year from oil producers to global consumers, setting the stage for one of the largest transfers of wealth in human history."

Why?

The junk bond market basically crashed this last 6 months thanks to all the non paying oil firms.

That 3T is not just USA consumers, but all over the world and also include all the other business that have paid an "oil tax" the last 10 years.

Seems like the plight of the middle-class is to constantly be trickled on. The rich always do well and the poor get free s***.

"plight".....give me a break. Work harder, get more education, hustle, go above and beyond, outwork everyone around you. Nothing is free, nothing is handed to you. Your plight is in the mirror.

Coal miners work hard. Agricultural workers work hard. Gonna take more than hard work and a college degree work permit.

I know some PHD who make less than 50k a year.

The 50 bucks they get in oil saving a month is meaningful to a lot of people. I think black gold have really clouded some of the folks sense of money here.

^ that 50$ ought to cover a small portion of their healthcare cost increase this year.

"One in 10 Obamacare customers who earn between just two and five times the federal poverty level will have coverage costs that exceed 21 percent of their incomes, an analysis by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Urban Institute found."
