Any thoughts on this new subsection of Sienna. Noticed that Taylor MOrrison is preselling here. Compared this to Avalon at Riverstone, it's about 100k in price difference.

That part of Sugar Land / Missouri City is really growing, lots of stores close by, great schools, etc.
And your right, the houses are a little bit cheaper for that section.
Best of luck.

Sole reason for the price difference is that your address is Missouri City, not Sugar Land.

Well, it's not necessarily just the address. Avalon at Riverstone is much closer to Hwy 59, and it is typically more expensive than even other comparable homes in Riverstone due to the proximity to the major Hwy.

The 100K price difference is because of the schools and location. Riverstone has better location and is zoned to better schools.

Taylor Morrison just slaps an "Avalon" on anything and people eat it up. Avalon at Telfair, Avalon at Riverstone, Avalon at Pine Mill, Avalon at Cinco Ranch, bleh--bleh--bleh.

Are all upscale "enclaves" in the burbs called Avalon these days? Seems there is an Avalon of BlahBlah in each direction.

Serious question.

There is a sugar land city limit sign right in front of the exit of AVALON at RS on university blvd.
