I can't help but notice that the story has ommitted entirely the figure these brothers wanted for their house. Granted, they probably were not offered the sum that they had in mind for the property but a good negotiation means that both parties go away dissatisfied. I think these guys are getting screwed because they were trying to screw the developer. The city has grounds for condemnation because the municipal revenues will be orders of magnitude greater from residential development than from a run-down palm reader.
