Does anyone in have experience with Katy's Texas Swim Academy? We're thinking about pursuing Infant Acquatic lessons for my almost 3 year old.

Any input would be appreciated! Thank you!

big fans of it. Have attended since it was held in her backyard. The pricing is correct but our 2 year old was swimming at the end of the 4 weeks. We're on a once a week schedule from May to October. Know 4 neighbors who did the 4 week program and all of the kids are swimming, all around the ages of 4-5 now.

This is opposed to aquatots which we tried for 2 months, one lesson a week, group for 30 minutes. She didn't learn a single thing in those two months.

pricey but would seem effective.

Houston swim club is less than $200 for 2 weeks of everyday classes (m-f) for 30 min.

for new swimmers, I would suggest an everyday program so they retain and build upon the previous lesson.

once or twice a week doesn't seem effective and don't do the Mommy and Me as they will cling to you, they need to be on their own with an instructor.

+1 for Houston Swim Club.

We started at the Katy location and were charter members at the Cypress location. Great results.

I am considering TX Swim Academy. Friend of my used her several years ago to teach his kids to swim with great results. $500 seems high, but I want my kids to properly learn.
