Default home cleaning rate

IT's about $125 for a house that large. The house you mentioned sounds like a McMansion out in the Suburbs.

Probably depends how bad it is, how many people need to come to complete the task, and list of tasks.
The cost is assessed after visual inspection.

That's probably a little low for a house of this size. I would guess $200 for a first clean and $120 for bi-weekly follow up.

According to:
https://www.angi.com/articles/how-mu...se-cleaner.htm

Most pros charge between $30 and $50 per hour.
Simple to standard cleans will cost between $0.05 and $0.15 per square foot, whereas deeper cleaners can cost up to $0.20 per square foot. (that could be $760 for 3800 sqft home)
Professionally cleaning larger homes over 3,000 square feet can cost more than $600.

According to:
https://patch.com/texas/woodlands/ho...woodlands-area

The average cost of a home cleaning in the greater Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar Land, TX region is $48 per hour, according to data obtained by Thumbtack.

According to:
https://www.westsidemaids.com/prices

One-time cleanings: $100.00/hr + Tax for all 3 professional maids. Minimum 1 hour of service. After the 1st hour, you will have a 30 min increment.
(I can see that washing windows or appliances inside is not included - now wondering if other services also charge extra for that work)

Tips:
How much should you tip your house cleaner? On average, tips range from 10 to 20% of the price the client paid for their service.

ms gamboolgal has a lady that we know to come every couple of weeks.
She does the "Deep" Cleaning and is trustworthy. She is usually at the house for all day, i.e., ~8 hours.
I believe she pays her ~$140 per day.
Well worth it and money well spent....
