No and I never will. I'm a big fan of Star Pizza.

Here's a link for them

Awesome pizzas and great service.

I haven't been but have heard a lot of positives from co-workers who live in Midtown area.

I know people in Midtown who swear by it, others prefer star. I prefer Chicago style...like Genos East

I did see something that the owners of Pink Pizza are opening a restaurant at 11th & Yale called Lola's.

Excellent thread. Where is the best place to go for a good NY slice? I'm talkin about all they sell is cheese and it slides off the slice unless you fold it in half. I need THAT pizza.

Any suggestions?

I like the toppings Pink's has, but I don't like the dough - too soggy.

I'm still searching (grew up in NYC area). Have tried NY Pizzeria, Grimaldi's (which actually IS a Brooklyn chain but charred pizza crust just isn't to my liking) and Brothers but nothing yet that says a "NY slice".
