Hello, my family just moved into the Houston area and and we don't really know anybody or our way around yet. We could use some friends or something lol. We have a 4 month old baby boy so people that have small children would be nice, but not a necessity.

Weather is starting to get nice. I've always said, if you have kids or a dog, it is fairly easy to make friends. Get out, take your little one for a stroll, your bound to meet some neighbors!

I do not live in Houston (yet), however I suggest joining a playgroup. You can find them on Yahoo Groups or on meetup.com. There is also a forum called HoustonAreaMommies.com--Houston and surrounding areas's Mom-to-Mom Connection, they have playdates and have a forum to ask questions about being a mommy, about the area, and whatever else you may have questions about. Good Luck!

I live in the Richmond/Rosenberg area, more in Pecan Grove actually. We have joined the YMCA to help us get into shape and it helps our son get used to being in a daycare for a little bit because he'll have to be in one sooner or later.

Ah, you're not that far from those of us in/near New Territory in Sugar Land.
