We have to.

I looked up Ash Forks, Arizona. Less than 500 people - or less people than in my subdivision. Welcome to Houston and culture shock.

That's for sure. And the lanes on many freeways are very narrow.

Oh, snap. Another small towner, nice. I moved here from Mapleton, Oregon where I grew up. Not too much of a culture shock as my family is originally from Seattle. But yeah. A lot different!

Yeah, I grew up in a town of about 5000 - and it was culture shock when I moved here - and Houston was a lot smaller then.

sorry i was absent for so long . moving and unpacking took more time than i figured . while i did live out in the boonies for 22 years does not mean i am a stranger to heavy moving traffic . i have before driven in Paris , New York City , and Phoenix . one thing common in all of them is " don't be first to blink " cause i won't . the worst part driving in Ash Fork was when kids rode their horses to school and got in the way , or high schoolers cruising around town's two streets , each about six blocks long . the best part that i like about Houstons is the traffic lights . love how they are set up .
