The Weeden House Museum in going to be open for a ghost tour for 10 days leading up to Halloween. For those that don't know, the house was built in 1819 and is the oldest house in Huntsville that is open to the public. The house was the birth and death place of famed artist Maria Howard Weeden, and was also occupied by Union troops during the Civil War. There have been many ghost sightings over the years, some with picture proof.

I was fortunate enough to get a up close look at the way the tour is going to operate, and I can say that it will be genuinely creepy.....not gory special effects, or monsters jumping out at you...just creepy atmosphere narrated by "true" ghost stories.

I'll post more information when it is available. For now there is a FB page for the event: https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-W...78145272406192

That sounds really cool! We did the ghost walk in Chattanooga a few years ago and it was pretty cool.....and creepy! One of the kids with us took a photo at the Coca Cola mansion and there was definitely some sort of face in one of the windows in the photo :0
