I noticed there are Breland signs at the entrance to Shiloh Run off Browns Ferry Road in Madison....the neighborhood that Mark Harris has been developing. I assume it's because he (Mark Harris) hasn't been that successful building it out. It's disappointing because the homes in there are really lovely and not "cookie cutter" like so many other subdivisions. But for some reason, that neighborhood must be a hard sell? Maybe because it's small and has no amenities.

Seems like Breland is taking over just about everything in Madison, but I guess it's understandable because they are the only ones right now selling like hotcakes! In Brighton Park and Creekside (where I live), they are selling as fast as they can put them up. Their houses are very nice on the inside, for the money (lots of wood floors, soft-close drawers on the cabinetry, granite counters, etc). I just wish they had more variation with their exteriors....they are so non-descript.

On another note, I see that Mark Harris is building spec homes on some of the lots he bought in Whitworth Farms, and it looks like they are priced very competetively for the neighborhood. I hope he's successful with them.
