What I've seen with established lawns, Bermuda looks better if it gets water a few times a week. Folks who didn't water had yellow green lawns vs the darker green lawns of those who watered.

Yes - it definitely looks lush and verdant green when Bermuda is watered often - but at the price of needing to mow more often - and hand over $$$ to HSV Utilities.

Water isn't
that expensive, and I pay a flat rate for sewage anyways with a private utility.

We have a 2nd meter, but I do not think it saves much. During the summer, the time we water our Bermuda, with the 2nd meter we do not get the discount. Also our builder connected the outdoor water faucets to the 1st meter. So when we spot water the grass, we are charged 2x as well.
