Reportedly, adjacent to the S&J Produce Farm market in the Clift Farms area. Sorry, no sources but they're moving dirt.

Not sure why they would do that with the one already in Huntsville unless they plan on closing that one.

I saw that quoted from a Monrovia FB group and someone else reported seeing it in a newsbreak. But like you, I have no official source. Also, someone's son who is a Monrovia Fire volunteer said so... and I think the grandmother of a brother of a friend as well
But this is the 3rd unofficial report I have heard today, all saying the same spot.

All indications are it is true Costco will build at the site mentioned, which currently is in the county not Madison or Huntsville.

I've heard the Costco rumor as well. Have not heard any rumors of it being an additional one or a replacement for the current one. Sam's has two locations, so why not Costco? Hope they keep the existing one because it's much easier for me to get to than the Clift Farm area.

Yes, that would be good and more convenient to folks in Decatur and Hartselle, and even Cullman. But Athens and points east are growing rapidly. 72 really needs to be a freeway, but it's too late for that.

) if Costco were to operate two warehouses in Madison County. Especially when they only operate the one warehouse in the Birmingham area.
I can see the existing warehouse being shuttered and moved west. I would hope that they negotiate a deal with Breland where their customers do not get surcharged with the Breland development fee. I think that is 3%. Everybody at Clift Farms chages that fee except for Publix.
Publix customers never paid that fee, and the store has since been annexed into the City of Madison.
