We are looking for a good family physician in the Madison/Harvest SE Huntsville area. Are there any good physicians anyone can recommend or who not to see? I would appreciate any information you can provide.

What insurance outfit are you with? For example Kaiser vs. Blue Cross. I think they are sort of mutually exclusive???

Default Good family doctor

i recommend christopher o'halloran at creekside in HSV. i looked hard for a DO, as i believe them to be superior to regular MD's. 256-551-6503 not sure if he has openings.

he's midwestern educated, yet home-grown alabama guy in his late 30s-early 40s? w/two young children, well-tied into the medical community in HSV (VERY important in this too-fast growing community).

most importantly, which is why i go with DO's, he respects my sometimes unconventional ideas of child health without being patrionizing, and yet provides me with great information to help me make the right decisions for my children and myself.

i have tricare standard, so i am sure he takes all insurance plans.

Might as well try...

South or southeast side of Huntsville & Blue Cross PPO:

Any recommendations on cardiologists, dermatologists, ophthalmologists, or otolaryngologists (ENT)?
