As of 8amPDT Tropical Depression 2E has strengthened to Tropical Storm Agatha.

Winds 40mph, moving away from land to the WNW at 12mph, pressure 1005mb(29.68inches).

Located about 775miles SW of S tip of Baja California.

Forecast to possibly strengthen over the next 12-24hrs before it reaches shear and cooler waters that starts to weaken it.

As of 8amPDT Tropical Storm Agatha continues to head away from land, weakening.

Winds 40mph, moving W at 13mph, pressure 1005mb (29.68in).

Located about 1220 miles W of S tip of Baja California.

The last advisory on Tropical Storm Agatha was issued Monday July 4, 2016 at 8pmPDT.

Was located at 1345 miles W of the S tip of Baja California, winds 35mph, moving West at 12mph, pressure 1008mb (29.77in).

It met its demise due to cooler waters, drier air, and wind shear.

What remains is expected to move Westward for the next few days.
