Wed 8Sept - Invest 91L in Gulf became TD13 just after 4pEDT, and now as of 5pEDT Tropical Storm Mindy with winds 40mph (65km/h), moving NE 21mph (33km/h), pressure 1008mb. Center located about 90miles (150km) WSW of Apalachicola, FL. As such, TS Warning small area of FL coast. Comes in tonight.
Regardless of classification change, impacts basically the same with scattered showers, sometimes heavy, and breezy conditions across portions of Northern FL, Southern GA. Helping feed moisture up into parts of the S/SE US. Heads out to sea.

Right at 5p when the upgrade to TS came out, the center on radar looked really well defined suddenly and now a little after 5p doesn't look as organized (on radar). Not expecting any surprise strengthening with this one.
Wed 835pEDT - center nearing landfall in FL maybe between Apalachicola & Port St Joe / Indian Pass area. North/Northeast of center tonight will also bring possibility of a few brief lived tornadoes.
Max sustained winds at 45mph, radar shows this right on the immediate right side of center. Pretty calm winds outside this area. Apalachicola may have these winds move through/near.
Thurs 9Sept 5pEDT - winds 35mph (55km/h), moving ENE 23mph (37km/h), pressure 1005mb. Tropical Depression heading out to sea. About done.
