True enough but particularly if you go to the boneyard yourself, you can verify that the lens is as-new, pull it yourself (probably only need a screwdriver, the one on a Swiss Army knife is probably adequate) and be on your way, paying just a few bucks cash.
But, I like going to the boneyard, always find something that's a bargain and am usually not sorry I picked it up sooner or later...
