Most of these criminals are Asian, another reminder that fake marriages to obtain green cards is still rampant.

It always amazes me how these people have plenty of money already - tens of thousands of dollars to commit fraud and other crimes. Just like those who can easily scrape together $10,000 to pay the cartel to smuggle them over the border. Not many Americans have that kind of money laying around.

we live in a spend society. we are always owing someone, whether it is student loans, our house, our car etc. where I was born people save more. You buy when you can afford, banks pay more interest (which encourages saving)

its just hard to have liquid wealth here. Most of the wealth here is tied up in assets
