Some DREAM students face nightmare scenarios | MarioWire

Illegals are urging other illegals to take a stand? Wouldn't the most promising solution be to take a stand in your Country you are fleeing?

The bleak landscape echoes the emptiness of the Jim Crow era, when our nation preferred the protection of the elite rather than any celebration of the diverse. But in Perez's case, we are not ridding ourselves of a troublemaker
WTH?

"Celebration of the diverse"? WTH does that mean? Don't we already have every race/ethic group living in this country LEGALLY? What is this diversity that we are missing or aren't celebrating?

If diverse means illegal, criminals law breakers we can do without. It's odd how none of them blame their Parents. It's always the fault of the evil Americans.

"In the wake of this leadership failure, who loses under our prevailing system of immigration enforcement? Actually, we all do, because we share the burden of telling people like Perez that they are no longer welcome in our town."

That is the thing. Most of these people do not recognize any other country as their home but the U.S. Many of them do not remember what it was like to live in another country or they don't have any family left in that country. They call the U.S. their home and they are fighting to remain here. They are fighting to be able to contribute to this country by getting educated, paying taxes and being outstanding citizens in the U.S.

It make little difference. Damned for not assimulating, yet damned for trying to assimulate...

All these threads have little to do with changing immigration laws, they have become, a cathartic excersize in expressing fear and anger.

So beit, everybody needs an outlet...but it will have no effect on changing or reforming laws. none.

It must be disconserting to have your ideas discounted by the majority of the American people, the American courts, and American legislators. Disconcerting that your concerns are not heard or valued. Disconcerting to have to wait for yet another Congress, yet another President, yet another court rulling...

..."Like a wolf baying in the wilderness, no one hears except the other wolves".

The vast majority of American people are not in favor of illegal immigration. The vast majority of American people do not want to be forced to learn Spanish, pay for welfare for illegal immigrants, grant citizenship to the offspring of illegals or deal with idiotic ethnic grievances by people who literally have no right to be here under our immigration laws. Most Americans, if you polled them, are not on the side of the illegals and their line skipping, overentitled whiny brats who seem to believe that our laws are optional.

The fact that pols ignore these facts does not make them any less true.

FYI, the person in question was driving. Since he probably can't do so legally he was driving without a license or insurance. That hardly makes him some sort of model citizen.

This is ridiculous. Americans are damned for essentially doing what every other nation does: asking for border enforcement and asking potential immigrants to ask permission before they come here. The fact that we get damned as racists for doing so mind boggling.
