Fairfax County is next in line unless we un-elect the current Board Chairman.

Local politicians like the Board Chairman have zero authority to enforce Federal immigration laws. Of course that won't stop the candidates for local office from campaigning as if they do.

Prince William is already admitting that they don't have the money to enact their recently passed anti-immigration measures.

Illegal immigration could be stopped tomorrow....powerful interest groups in this country don't want it stopped.

There is hope, however.....the collapse of the home building industry is already causing illegals to leave the area. Cutting your own grass and cleaning your own homes would send even more packing. They're only here to work...so if there's no work....many will move on.

This is simply not true. Prince William is voting on it next week and it is looking like they will indeed vote for going ahead with the illegal immigration policy. Local authorities enforce federal laws all the time. I was on a joint task force with the DEA and ATF and we were sworn in as feds. I have already seen a difference in Prince William and they have only threatened action. Alexandria and Fairfax are in a bad way if they don't act on this.
