2 Students Arrested at City College of San Francisco Protest | NBC Bay Area

A bunch of students at a San Francisco community college held a protest due to new policies, including making illegal students pay out-of-state tuition.

From the article...

Quote:
Itzel Calvo, an ethnic studies student, said she was unable to register this semester because she is an undocumented immigrant who would have to pay out-of-state fees totaling about $3,000 to sign up for classes.

...

She called on City College to "end the dictatorship" of Agrella, who has unilateral power over decisions on the school's rules and regulations.
Poor illegals

Poor illegals
SF?! Really? Seriously? IF that full on "lib" town starting to turn against illegal aliens, especially a college there, things MUST be getting ready to hit the fan.

Good for them. I hope they stand firm against illegal interlopers getting in-state benefits.

It's astonishing the sense of entitlement these ungrateful so-called DREAMers have. They got a free k-12 education courtesy of the taxpayers. Instead of being grateful, they just demand more, more, more.

If you're not from CA, you're not entitled to in-state tuition. How hard is this to understand?

This "undocumented"! Well, if one isn't illegal and just needs to get a copy of their "documents" that is easily done through the state.
