It's obvious that those governments have a gripe. They support and encourage their people to come here to the USA because these people send back a whole lot of money to their countries of origin. This money keeps their economies going. If this revenue would stop going out to them there would be less money to steal by the government. Meanwhile, the illegals here in the U.S. get paid in cash. They pay no income tax- just sales tax. A big portion of their earnings leave our country. The U.S. loses out on collecting income taxes and the economy loses out on more money being circulated into our economy. A double whammy for the USA. What a country! Then those governments are like this ---->

The main driver of illegal immigration from south of the border has been NAFTA and CAFTA, which literally pauperized many of the citizens of those countries, so it is true that for many, illegal immigration is a question of survival. They have no choice but to make money here and send it back there.
Don't get me wrong, I am vehemently opposed to illegal immigration. But how many who complain about it bother to contact their reps in the occupation government and demand the repeal of NAFTA and CAFTA, which, by the way, are two bi-partisan pieces of legislation, written and pushed by Republicants and signed into law by Clinton (NAFTA) and Boosh (CAFTA).
Also, there was a proposal at one time to tax remittances, but that was shouted down by immigrant advocate groups.

I'd like to see both repealed but I don't think they are/were the driving force behind illegal immigration. It's only a small part of the problem. We had an illegal immigration problem from south of our border long before either of them went into effect.

I think they were the driving force for the massive waves of illegal immigration during the past 20 years. Other than that, as the welfare state has increased over time, birthright citizenship has been the long term driver.
I live in an area where there are lots of illegals and their extended families, some members of which are illegal, some second or third generation anchors. There is no doubt it is a burgeoning population. The thing that disturbs me the most is what is going to happen to those children when they age out of the system that pays their parents for being poor and reproducing? The way it looks now is that a massive population of unemployable youth will be in place. Unless there's some sort of miracle or massive epidemic, this has the potential to become a situation very much like the one that exists in Europe.
If the jobs aren't there, and the welfare state goes titsup, it will get very. very ugly.

Deport with Passion and back charge these SA countries for our trouble. The problem is the SA is un willing to create a country modeled after the US.

I agree. This situation needs to be handled ASAP or we are going to have a massive number of foreign poor in our country in addition to our own poor with no means to support themselves. We'll resemble a Third World Country. Goodbye, America.

Going forward we can not let as many Labors in and those we let in have to be managed better and return home in 10 months. Jeff Sessions ( I wish he would run for President) has a great idea of holding 20 % of the their wages back until they decide to go home.

Yes, but that doesn't fix the illegal immigration problem. What you are talking about are legal immigrants. I agree, would love to see Sessions run of president but the illegal alien sympathizers would burn him at the stake so to speak.

Now, you may be more well traveled than I am, as I have not visited Poland, and have not visited many Latin American countries, although I've been to Mexico. So I don't know which countries have had it worse than others historically, really. But as to countries "fixing" themselves, that sort of thing is needed right here, right now in the USA, and not just with respect to immigration. In fact, I would say, immigration is as it is so that we can't "fix" ourselves.
