A Presidential pardon, IIRC, absolves you of all crimes from when you were born to when the pardon is issued, not anything after the fact. You can pardon illegals for entering the country, the problem is, as it doesn't cover future crimes, as soon as the pardon is issued it becomes null and void because they are still in the country illegally, so what would be the point?

My wife was a dreamer from the first time she traveled to the US decades ago. Over the years she made several more trips while her paperwork waited in line for a green card. She followed the rules and was eventually rewarded.
Why would anyone who snuck in or overstayed their visas and melted into "the shadows" be rewarded for breaking the law??
I am so happy that Trump got elected over Clinton because we now have a chance to restore common sense and established law to America.
