Well, if you really believe in something, be prepared to sacrifice for it.

That's the price you pay.

Yeah, shame on employers who fire dead beats who don't show up to work....

"A Day Without Illegal Immigrants"

Hail these employers for effectively telling them, "we don't need you"....

How about doing a "Day without foodstamps"? Every state will suspend ALL EBT CARDS for a day to show these ingrates what its like to actually have to do without taxpayer funded assistance?

Were those who skipped work undocumented? If they were then the owners of this place made themselves look like idiots by saying something about it. If the workers were legal, then they took their chance to make a point by not showing up and lost.

I can just imagine these people at their next job interview, after being fired:

E. "It shows here you were terminated. What was the reason?"

A. "I attended "A Day Without Immigrants" Rally and skipped work because of it."

E. "Okay, thanks, we will keep your application on file. Have a nice day."

I heard yesterday that there were several hundred of these idiots throughout the country that got fired. I guess they thought they were living in CA where they could do anything they want and get away with it.
It's a rude awakening to illegals and their promoters that the rest of the country isn't CA and most of the country do not support or feel sorry for them.
Some people just took the day off because they thought it was like a federal holiday for them.....LOL

Kudos to them! Though I'd be even happier if they hadn't hired illegals in the first place.

Because they skipped work to protest. You obviously never worked at a job that frowns upon playing hooky.
