CMS student arrested, facing deportation | WCNC.com

Should have focused on dreaming instead he chose the Thug Life. Looks like his gofundme either reached its goal or was shut down... Should deport him and his whole family if illegal.

What an ingrate! He got DACA which allowed him to stay and get an education. So what does he do? He embezzles from Harris Teeter. He probably figured since he had DACA he was untouchable and could do whatever he wanted.

He stole an average of $500 a week over the course of 6 weeks. Send him back.

He is a thief. I couldn't believe how dumb his friends were thinking that if he had DACA, that allowed him to commit felonies and it was not a big deal. Geesh, I bet we have a lot of American citizens that would love a status that allowed for that.

They mention that he would go to a country where he has never been, but that is exactly what his parents did with him and doing it with kids would be much more difficult than going it alone. $500.00 a week, embezzling and not a big deal? Ah, big deal!

Kick him out, we have our own citizen criminals to tend to. Maybe because his parents showed they had no respect for our laws, he is just continuing a family tradition?

I am amazed that his friends don't seem to think felony embezzlement is a serious crime. He is an adult and is responsible for his actions. Too bad for him that he thought so little of this country that he thought it was OK to steal from his employer. No doubt he'll have lots of supporters that think he's the kind of immigrant we want in this country and that he shouldn't be deported.

I caught up with the current status of this. Letting him plea deal down to a misdemeanor and then voluntarily depart will allow him to immediately apply to come back to the US legally. Why in the world would we even entertain the idea of allowing an embezzler to come back into the country? He clearly has no ethical base. Nor does his family. Though he plead guilty his mother (who cannot speak English after being here for 12 years) insists he didn't steal anything. These are not the kinds of immigrants this country needs.

The fellow students should first learn that this is not an immigrant but illegal alien who tried to immigrate the wrong way as there is only one correct way and that is through the front door!

Then he is lucky to get DACA status and repays the gratefulness with theft!

Kick him to the curb and where he came from. It starts with "small crimes" and if he would have gotten away with it the bigger crimes are committed.

Btw, most criminals don't get caught the first few times so we don't know how long he has been stealing and perhaps his fellow students should check their wallets as they may be missing stuff that this guy was stealing.
