Immigration agents doing their jobs. Little by little the illegal community is discovering that their protected status disappeared with Obama.
Now we need to hammer those employers. WE also need to start seizing the assets of the illegals.

Illegal aliens complain about being underpaid, and ICE shows up to deport them. I don't see a problem with that.

Penalize the employer if they knowingly hired illegal aliens, too.

Make both illegal aliens and those who knowingly employ them know they can't get away with it, and illegal immigration will no longer look attractive.

Good for ICE! They now also need to go after the company that employed all those illegals and fine the heck out of them!

WE need to seize the illegals assets as well to help pay for the cost of deportation.

It really is past time that they started really enforcing employer sanctions. I know even the Republicans don't want to do that, but it's time.

Well, the good news is that Trump has e-verify in his 2018 budget.

"Undocumented workers secure jobs through fraudulent means such as presenting false documents, completing fraudulent benefit applications and stealing someone’s identity"

"ICE has streamlined the IMAGE certification process. IMAGE now offers a formal membership certification program that focuses on exceptional employers that have the ability to effect change within their industry or region. These employers also serve as an example and role model in the business community while highlighting the importance and viability of immigration compliance. Program participants will be deemed IMAGE certified upon enrollment and completion of IMAGE membership requirements. Employer feedback on the IMAGE program and industry participation in IMAGE will serve to guide DHS in shaping future worksite enforcement policy."

They are trying.

I don't like the word "sanctions"......or "penalize".

I like the words Tax Liens (&/or jail time) for employers of Illegal Aliens. Start with an Automatic Audit by the IRS.....put mean as hell pit bull accountants on them.... who will sift through records for the past 7 years.

- You weren't making SS payments for the illegals? Tax Lien.
- You were deducting as employment expense & paid "cash" to illegals? Tax Lien.
- You were paying a 3rd party company by 1099.....for work done by Illegal Aliens? Tax Lien on you AND the 3rd party company.
- You were employing them and paying them cash or 3rd party 1099? & their family took advantage of Medicaid & other Federal programs..... because you didn't offer benefits for them as employees?? Tax Lien for ALL federal monies spent on the Illegals AND their families during that time.

One, we'll recover some of the money the Federal Govt has been p*ssing off on Illegals the past 8 years &

TWO, employers will stop hiring illegals immediately if they thought they'd get hammered by tax liens that don't go away.

Employers make all the required tax payments (except maybe for homeowners hiring someone at Home Depot to repair the deck). Undocumented people present 'proof of citizenship' when they are hired, the problem is the ID is fake and the SSN usually belongs to a dead person

"The Earnings Suspense File now contains Social Security tax forms that date back to 1937 and are linked to the taxes that were paid on nearly $1.3 trillion in wages. As of 2014, efforts to track these taxpayers down allowed the Social Security Administration to match 171 million tax forms to their rightful owners.
But there are still about 340 million unclaimed tax forms recorded in the file, compared to 270 million nearly a decade ago. A good portion of those forms were filed by employers on behalf of some of the most unlikely funders of Social Security: undocumented immigrants. In fact, illegal immigration is considered largely responsible for the mushrooming of the file, with undocumented workers paying billions in taxes for retirement benefits they will likely never receive."
