First they'd have to agree that it would also apply to other things. If the EPA came after someone for violating environmental regulations and came to small town Texas, small town Texas could tell them that they would not assist them in capturing the fugitive. If the IRS was after someone for not paying the IRS the dough the feds say they owe them, a town in Alaska would be fine in telling them IRS that they will not cooperate in helping them capture the fugitive as it's not their job. If a company doesn't follow one of the Left's bogus civil rights quotas and comes to a town in Alabama, the town in Alabama can refuse and state that it is not their job to go after the company.

I mean, it's only fair, right? Why should we just to get to say "it's not our job" for immigration laws only?

I guess thats cool, I don't have a problem with that either..but these are mostly federal crimes..so as far as I am concerned, its the govts job anyway, not local law enforcement.
