Today's show was interesting. And it seems to me that one problem with the whole migrant situation, is that the migrants themselves don't really have a clue about what's realistic to expect in the US. They all seem to operate on rumours, not facts. These migrants are under the false impression that their only option for a better life is to enter the US. However, the Mexican government offers for work visas, housing support and jobs is a good one.

And one Honduran man was interviewed, and it turns out that he's given up on getting into the US right now, but got himself work in Mexico. It happens that there is plenty of work available in Mexico for these migrants, if they would just stay put and look for work there. And a plus is that the COL in Mexico is much, much less than in the US.

The Left seems "to operate on rumors not facts" when it comes to the wall.

Illegal immigration is a big problem in America. There are places along the border that is not guarded and people can walk right over. When a citizen is hurt or killed through the actions of an illegal alien the Left doesn't care. When a citizen dies from a drug overdose, drugs that came across the border they don't seem to care. Thousands of people die in this country every year due to the criminal actions of people that have no business being here and they think there is little that can be done but whoa watch out if some deranged idiot uses a gun to murder innocent people then the Left is ready to ban guns, restrict the Rights of the law abiding and rewrite the Second amendment.

How can the Left be so galvanized when it comes to gun violence but when it comes to illegal aliens killing citizens they don't care?

How can migrants have a clue when our elected on both sides of the issue don't?

That begs the question as to why Mexicans cross the border illegally for work.

Work in the US pays more, but the COL in Mexico is much less. And we are neighboring countries, rather than some 1500 mile trek.

Otherwise, jobs in Mexico pay better than those in Honduras and Guatemala, so the migrants should stop and stay in Mexico.

Yeah. That question just sorta hangs in the air, doesn't it?
An interview yesterday was an eye-opener as one of the migrant marchers explained that it was dangerous to cross Mexico alone. He said he was afraid he would be killed or kidnapped. Mexico is a disaster.

Sure. Mexicans hate migrants passing through and stealing food from their markets and anything else they need. These migrants don't have the money for their journey. But that is still no reason to let these impoverished and unskilled migrants (many with children) into our country.

I thought Mexican border jumpers' excuse was that they could not find work to support their families and they just wanted a better life so why should the Hondurans and Guatemalans let the Mexicans get all the "high paying" jobs in the US?

While about domestic immigration, the novel Grapes of Wrath does a good job explaining why people drop everything to move to some far off place for work. Things at home get bad with no hope of improvement, meanwhile many around you plan on leaving, and maybe employers in the far off place send flyers about how great things will be. Whether Appalachian to Detroit in the 1950s or Central Americans to the USA in 2019 I think it's usually the poor and geographically isolated who leave, so home states/ nations have no incentive to stop the flow because the people leave are viewed as 'takers not makers'.

Like 4,000 suspicious persons stopped at the border when the actual number was six?

Trump wouldn't know a fact if it bit him in the rump. He is too busy exaggerating and fabricating things to give credibility to his own biases.
