I noticed many of the migrants coming across our border have young infants in their arms and also with young children. It seems to be a common demographic of many migrants coming across our border. Why is that. I am not seeing older adults with children. What is the attraction for mostly young adults with young children to migrate to the US. Younger children are more vulnerable to making a move from one country to another.

And we will have to support them if they make it over our border and if the parents are young they will continue to breed on our soil at the taxpayer's expense. WTH is our government thinking?

They should all be deported, children or not. If they made it all the way here they can make it all the back.

These people are well versed on what it takes to gain sympathy when they enter the country. Sadly, we don't even know if these are their children or possibly infants and young children for the "black market", which was the original concern for children passing into the country illegally. It is VERY hard to adopt a baby or young child in the US, even if you are willing to adopt a baby/child with special needs to include not being picky about the gender and/or race. Children can also be sold into the world of child pornography or other types of slavery.

https://www.heritage.org/immigration...uggling-crisis

"Some children have died during the rough and dangerous crossing, others have been abused by the smugglers, and some have been sold into human trafficking networks."

https://www.usatoday.com/story/opini...mn/1902206001/

"This is not just a Central America problem; the southern border has become a conduit for homicidal cartels to illegally smuggle people from around the world by exploiting the loophole in our immigration law that allows minors and those who travel with minors to quickly enter the country."

I bet they come in without a significant other as it appears many of the illegal mothers who I have seen interviewed appeared to have fell upon a "immaculate conception"! Poor mother with those children...........

The humane thing to do is close the border. They claim young girls and women are raped along the trip also, and others die in the back of U-Haul trucks in the heat or in the desert from dehydration.

All we need to do is crack the whip on these countries that are dumping their poor on us, tell them no more big money unless they take care of their own poor. Money and tight borders speak!

What gets me is all of these minors showing up at our border without their parents or even a pretend parent. Why are we allowing minors into our country unattended? They are the responsibility of their parents. We have no right to do anything with them. They should be turned away at the border.

Considering we have over 400,000 children in our foster care system in the US, we certainly do not need to import kids, but they play on the sympathy of the ignorant as poor illegal children. How the heck does a child, even a teen, manage to cross the lands between us and their "mother" country? It is a dangerous trip for even adults.

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-u...-idUSKBN2BH1BF

"Immigrant advocates are concerned that parents may be traveling to the border with their children and sending them to the United States alone so that they will be permitted to enter."

"The United States removed only 4% of the roughly 290,000 unaccompanied children who entered the country from fiscal years 2014 to 2019, according to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) data."

Get the kids in and then make the case about being separated from one's children to try to keep an illegal alien's foot in the door! I think we have seen too many cases where kids are being used by these illegal aliens to promote themselves. Oh, poor illegal alien, being separated from their children? Ah, we have thousands of US citizens separated from their children because they broke the law, and they actually had to pay the price by being incarcerated!

My brother in law is a hard core lefty. He said America's biggest threat to Democracy is Donald Trump and white Nationalist. He claims white nationalist with Trumps help want to overthrow the Gov and kick out all non whites. I told him he is full of it. He said he feels very honored that whites will no longer be a majority in America anymore. When I told him whites are a global minority he said whites had their run and it was time to hand the keys over. The scary part is he really believes Trump is more a threat to our Democracy than Biden.
