As the USA contines to slide farther into a depression, is saddled with a nearly unwinnable war oversees, and is being held at the mercy of politicians that couldn't care less about own nation's citizens, it comes time for WE the American people to begin to come up with some of the answers. Since this is the Immigration board (Not the politics board), I ask people on both sides of the issue to give me their ideas for dealing with the massive illegal immigration issue that's gripping our nation today.
How can we pay for them, employ them, educate them, or get rid of them?

We should deport them, and their descendants.

Your asking people to speak logically on the subject. For most that's almost impossible.

The solution is very simple. Put a bounty on them, round them up and ship them out with orders to
not return until they are legal.

This will stimulate the economy by creating new bounty hunter jobs while at the same time removing illegals from positions in the U.S. they hold illegally.

The bounty idea is original. Keeping them out may prove to be a challenge though. Perhaps the US could use the captured illegals as labor to build a border wall that would keep others out, and then return those workers to their nations of origin once the wall is completed. Use of the E-verify system would probably help in keeping them from returning if they could still find a way into the U.S.

E-Verify was taken out of the stimulus package, showing Obama's true intentions.

OK: How far back do we go with said descendants of illegal aliens?

Note I am extremely anti illegal immigration but I have no problem grandfathering in existing Anchor Babies who are at least age 12. Needless to say: their parents if here illegally, would still need to be deported.

Good point Bear...We have to target this issue rationally. Even though it'd be easy to target all illegals, the question of how far back we go does have to be considered. Do we as a nation really want to take on the cost of any anchor baby though if the parents are residing in another country?

Some of the anchor babies are worse than the actual illegal immigrants.

Where does the money come from to put a bounty on 15 million people?
Think, man.

I guess the biggest thing would be to enact labor laws that prevent slave wage jobs from being formed here for the illegal immigrants. It's not as if the main attractant for most illegal immigrants is the (somewhat paltry) social services we offer to the poor, but the promise of actual work here. It thus makes sense to curtail the main attractant available to them--if you force American employers to pay the same decent wage to everyone and have safe (up to code) work environments, then there is no real incentive to hire illegals. Meanwhile, you're also opening up your labor pool to Americans who would be willing to work some of the heinous and/or menial jobs that the illegals are doing for a decent wage.
