The surest way to destroy the US system of benefits, including healthcare, is to allow in large numbers of illegal immigrants from poor, oppressive, dissolute and corruption -ridden societies where the rule of the road is to grab anything and everything you can get your hands on.

Are you suggesting we allow pregnant women to give birth in the street? We really don’t have much choice in the matter when these women enter a hospital in labor. We need to start deporting these women and their babies as soon as they can safely return home. None of these babies should be granted U.S. citizenship.

How are you planning on doing that?
Would Hospitals have to contact INS and report an illegal Mother that just gave birth?
What if it's a U.S. Citizen who forgot her identification?.
Now you have a lawsuit on your hands.

I suspect most actual US citizens who go to a hospital to give birth will have some form of ID with them. Even if they have to go to the hospital due to an emergency, most will at least have grabbed their purse on the way out the door. Or their spouse, significant other, relative, friend or neighbor will have brought the ID along as they accompany the woman to the ambulance. Even if no one brought the ID along when she is admitted to the hospital, surely someone can go home and fetch it before the woman is discharged. The main point is that there is a legal ID. A US citizen or legal resident will be able to produce an ID. An illegal alien will not.
