@Beast: They can’t arrest everybody. If we had widespread community commitment against deportation, they would start thinking twice. And getting arrested, as horrible as it is, can be useful media tool if handled properly.
@Phillip Howel: They should interfere actively but without hurting anyone. Stand in the away, lock arms with the deportation victim and your comrades, smash the vehicles intended to take the target away. That sort of thing.
Oh this is going to do LOTS to help their cause....i really hope they understand American fury before they do anything stupid like mentioned above.
The desperation of the pro illegal side is becoming more and more obvious. What a bunch of losers..........their delusional thinking will become their downfall. Especially attempting to use tactics from the antiwar protests during the Vietnam War------------the difference is that most Americans today are against illegal immigration.
It is that ignorant, selfish attitude that we Hispanics battle every day and will continue to do so until we have achieved equal representation. It is politically correct to say there is power in numbers, something Hispanics in this state are not short of.
Opponents of equality, hear this: We will not stop. We will never surrender the noble fight for our people.

This is an issue of illegal immigration, and they do a grave disservice to the Hispanic citizens of this country by their deliberate conflation of Hispanic illegal aliens with Hispanic-Americans. They are NOT the same; and only those with an open borders/amnesty agenda refuse to make a distinction. Yet, they can’t understand why many are beginning to paint ALL Hispanics with the same brush.

I don’t see the connection. I don’t believe Hispanic illegals resent progress of Hispanic-Americans. I simply believe not enough Hispanic-Americans are willing to openly oppose illegal immigration, thus distancing themselves from illegal aliens.

Actually there is some truth to the 'crab pot': many Latinos, especially the pro illegal apologists, do not like it when other Hispanics (in particular, Mexicans/Central Americans, not so much Argentines, etc) who came to the USA legally wish to assimilate as true blue Americans.
This is one of the reasons why I wish we never let the Alien and Sedition Acts expire.
These little punks are only going to get more and more aggressive (including eventually becoming violent) until they either get their way, or they are deported as national security threats.
