Here is some newsflash from FoxNews.com:

Harry Reid, the Democratic Senate Majroity leader has a 19% approval rating!! That is WORSE than sellout Presidente Busho (that is his new Mexican name, since he is OK with the entire nation of Mexico just waltzing into the USA). Guys, a previously loved Democrat is at 19% after his illegal alien amnesty push!! Now we are talking NEVADA, a pretty liberal state!! They are KILLING this liberal dude in the polls.... all thanks to the amnesty.

"A new Rasmussen Reports poll finds only 19 percent of American voters look favorably upon Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV).

The poll of 800 likely voters, released Saturday, followed a brutal week of political maneuvering on Capitol Hill over a much-maligned immigration reform bill that was killed by Republicans after Reid would not permit several amendments to be debated."

As of Presidente Busho, his polls have dropped considerably after he started his illegal alien amnesty push last year.

Now sellout Presidente Busho has failed to move amny Senators in the GOP to his side. So he had Senator Martinez of Florida (another HUGE sellout, whom I regretfully helped in his campaing in 2004, since he was claiming in 2004 to be a 'tough conservative' and now has 'come out' as a liberal lill' punk) work out an ammendment to the amnesty bill to make it a crime to overstay visas (mind you, will that include border hoppers too??) and to fund a FEW border security measures.

"The senators are looking at a way to please conservatives who are skeptical Congress will ever fund the bill's border security provisions, as well as keep Democratic negotiators on board in a last ditch effort to save the comprehensive reform bill.

Visa overstays will become a crime under the Graham-Kyl-Martinez amendment, and repeat offenders would face mandatory jail time, deportation, and a ban from ever re-entering the U.S. It is unclear what Democratic negotiators like Sen. Edward Kennedy will do. He has not supported this kind of stiff penalty in the past.

Graham would also forever bar employers from participating in the guest worker program if they have violated immigration laws repeatedly.

It is unclear if this approach can work. "They tell me it can be done," Graham said, but he added that his staff is investigating this now."

Sound off: What do you all think??? Will this 'drop in the bucket enforcement' help convince the GOP to push this amnesty??? Will any laws be enforced if it was a crime to overstay a visa? Would our wimpy politicians DEMAND local cops enforce immigration laws? Will this 'criminal illegality' ammendment make quack Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-MA) still want the amnesty??? What do YOU think???

I think nothing will really change until we the voters send a loud message to Washington by ousting these spineless worms in office now on both sides and get some real Americans in there that believe in securing the boarder and seriously addressing the problem. By hitting the places and hire them and removing the illegals here.

I agree.... the American people need to grap torches and pitchforks and go to DC and demand we enforce existing Immigration laws.

The latest display of RAGE by Americans against their corrupt US Senators has put DC in the defensive and that is what killed the latest illegal amnesty bill.

I think this cartoon puts it quite nicely....
