Very best is a relative term. You have to find the cardiologist that you are comfortable with. St. Vincent heart hospital was recently named a top heart hospital. You can go to their website and investigate from there.

St Vincent opened a new Heart Institute/Hospital at 106th and Meridian about 5 years ago and they have some very good cardiologists there. I believe Dr Andrew Fouts of The Care Group is an excellent interventional cardiologist. If your relative has a heart problem, Dr Fouts will be thorough in sorting it out and coming up with appropriate treatment and care.

I am going to add Dr Scott Sharp of the Indiana Heart Hospital on North Shadeland in Castleton to the list. He is a very competent, experienced and caring cardiologist with great bedside manners.
